Yes it is. 97 at 6pm. AC down for the count--we hope not anything worse than freezing up.
School shopping is done for the moment. New shoes, backpacks, a couple of new shirts/outfits. These kids don;t need much. Actually Shellie got quite a bit---a cute skort/tshirt outfit for the 1st day, a couple of tshirts and a pair of jeans from Wally World, and a bunch of winter items from Goodwill--sweaters, long sleeved shirts, etc. She didn;t need a backpack, though--she has a red one with a pink Harley on it. Too cute. She thinks it is too small; I think she just wanted a different one, but she has hardly ever used this one.
Opinion-----Don Imus settled with CBS and immediately got sued by one of the Rutgers players he offended. Hello? You were slandered, libelled, humiliated? Chick, no one would know who the hell you were if you didn;t open your mouth to expose it. So you got called a name. Who gives a rat's rear end? I get called all kinds of names by people each day, part of dealing with the public. Can I sue everyone who calls me a bitch of any kind? Puhleeze. Grow up honey. Contrary to what the NAACP says, life is not fair nor is it meant to be. Most people learn that in kindergarten.
Get a life, honey.
And to the duct tape robber from Ashland------get a brain, baby. That sh** hurts when you pull it off. Not to mention it apparently didn;t keep people from ID'ing you.
Off to bed with the fan blowing full blast on me.
