UFO's

I think I'm going to start a stitching blog. I have so many thoughts and projects that I could blog about. Until I have the time to do it though, y'all are stuck with me.

By the way, UFO's are not shiny full-of-lights objects with little green aliens on them, they are unfinished projects (objects). And I am chock full of 'em.

Just for example:

Cross stitch: floral edged tablecloth
quilt blocks from a kit I bought years ago
"That's what little boys are made of" from Cross my heart
Various baby bibs (my baby is 5 yrs old now!!)
blue/violet floral pillowcases (jsut started on the last trip to CT)

Knitting: afghans for Kris, Kate
getting ready to start afghan for niece Erin

Quilting: need to quilt together all layers for 5 quilt tops
Shellie's quilt top in progress (windmill pattern)

sewing: flannel nightgown for Shellie

This is jsut a partial list.

Then a older customer came into the store about 3 wks ago and overheard me talking with a cashier about the stitching projects we do and would like to do., and brought back in a stash of OLD cross stitch books/mags---she can;t stitch anymore with her eyes, so she gave me a stack of these books for free. I am still going thru them to see what I want to do. Plus in organiszing around my computer I have found a huge stack of patterns I pulled from online, from various free websites, plus a lot from places like Dragondreams and Vermillion Stitchery, when they have their free patterns or series on their sites. Thank you ladies for your wonderful patterns.

Well I am now tyring to listen to a problem my oldest has at work, so ......
