one more day.......

ONE MORE DAY OF WORK!!!!!!!!!
THEN WE ARE OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD..

Now I can't remember what color my posts are.

Anyway, one more day of work for me and Ron and then we are packed and off to the whatever state of CT. To get my boys and bring them back home. Lord, it has seemed so long since I have seen them---5 weeks actually did kind of fly by this time, but it still seems like forever.

I do still need to get an oil change before we leave---I guess that will be after work tomorrow while Ron gets to get Shel and clean out the cooler(s). I have already bought the water and the snacks. Not very many snacks, I don;t need them. But he and I really don't eat that much in the car, so mainly what we need is liquids. Especially since it is going to be nasty hot pretty much the whole trip. I also will need to fill the tank up on my way home tomorrow and stop at the bank.


Cable update-----no phone call and no tech at my door before I left for work at 12:05pm today. So much for promises. Ron came home and found a nice little door tag that said they had been here for a service call and no one was home, but that the problem should be fixed. They even called and left a message on my answering machine. Yeah so cable is back on, but they did not follow what they said they would do by being here this morning, plus the very fact that they were able to "fix" the problem without access to the house proves that all they had to do was go to the pole , most likely. That's all right. We'll call and cancel just as soon as Dish installs and we know that it works, and I will personally take it to the Ashland office and get a receipt for it. Screw 'em.
